Regina Galang is an external consultant to ZOIC. She specialises in
economic development consultancies and has clients in Zimbabwe, Zambia, South
Africa and Swaziland. She has performed work for the International Labour
Organisation, LEAD (a USAID-funded project), Vulindlela, Imbita Swaziland
Women's Finance Trust, and Khula (South Africa's microfinance apex institution)
in addition to other organisations. She received her B.S. from the
University of California at Berkeley, receiving high honours upon
graduation. She majored in business
administration and minored in education. Regina is a member of several honour societies,
among them: Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma and the Golden Key National Honour
Society. She
volunteered for the largest and most established microfinance institution in
Zimbabwe, Zambuko Trust, for one year (2001)
before she became an independent consultant in November 2001. Prior to
Zimbabwe, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and at an Internet start-up in
San Francisco, California. She obtained her CPA license in October
2000. The creation and design of this website is her seventh assignment
with ZOIC.
